Affectionate Advice To Apprentices
Merchant: Oxfam
Merchant's Category: Media> Books
Written by the Rev. Henry George Watkins, this is a revised edition published in 1903 of the original work from 1827. This rare work dispenses moral and theological advice to the City of London apprentices, and 'some of the Livery Companies have distributed it widely'. There is an elaborate coat of arms on the front pastedown, which may be from one of the livery companies The book's overall condition is good used. The slim volume is bound in red leather with gold tooling. The binding is somewhat worn and the spine has some losses, but the book is overall sound.
