Alessandro Sgobbio - Piano Music Released by AMP 2022 - New CD in shrink wrap Composer, Pianist, Producer, Alessandro Sgobbio keeps expanding his own personal vocabulary of compositions, improvisations and spiritual explorations throughout music. Sgobbio has earned Master's Degrees at the Norwegian Academy of Music (Oslo, Norway) and the Parma Conservatory of Music (Parma, Italy), releasing 13 albums as a leader / co-leader with his Scandinavian ensembles Silent Fires & Hitra, the bands Pericopes, Debra's Dream and Charm. He has received several awards, including the Umbria Jazz Contest and the Padova Carrarese Prize. He regularly tours in Europe, Scandinavia, China and the US. Sgobbio's recent releases "Forests" and "Transparence" have been chosen as "album of the month" on Italian Musica Jazz Magazine and Europe Jazz Network. In 2022 Sgobbio makes return to his primal vocation with a new solo album, "Piano Music".
