It has a smooth lustre and texture with a closely interlocked grain and similar qualities to Teak. Roble is a durable hardwood which is light yellow in colour and has a life span of up to 25 years, so it doesn't require treatment. If left to age naturally, it will gradually turn into a lovely silvery-grey colour.
