It works by the active ingredient caffeine stimulating the root of the hair. Alongside the caffeine, two other active ingredients help to fight against dandruff. The ingredients, salicylic acid and piroctone olamine help to loosen scaly cells and dandruff on the scalp. Warnings and Precautions: Alpecin Shampoos are only intended for men. If you are a woman and feel that you require treatment for hair loss, you should seek medical advice from a doctor.
