Four movies starring Angelina Jolie. In 'Mr and Mrs Smith' (2005), Brad Pitt and Jolie star as John and Jane Smith, a suburban couple whose marriage has started to go a bit stale after five or six years. Both wish for more excitement in their relationship, but as it happens, each of them is finding plenty of thrills elsewhere. Both Jane and John are world-class assassins who will take on perilous missions for the right price, but neither is aware of the other's secret life - Jane thinks her husband runs a successful construction company, and John believes his wife works on Wall Street. However, when John and Jane are both assigned to take out the same target, one Benjamin Danz (Adam Brody), they become aware of each other's secret lives, and suddenly both their careers and their marriage go through some dramatic and potentially deadly changes. In 'Beyond Borders' (2003), Sarah Jordan (Jolie) is an American living in London in the early 1980s. She is married to wealthy Henry Bauford (Linus Roache) when she meets relief worker Nick Callahan (Clive Owen) at a charity benefit. Nick's plea for help to support his relief efforts in war-torn Africa move Sarah and she joins his crusade, embarking on a journey of discovery to Cambodia. In 'Hackers' (1996), teenage hackers Zero Cool (Johnny Lee Miller) and Acid Burns (Jolie) may be young, but they're already in trouble with the authorities. Both have been banned from using computers until they turn eighteen. However, the situation turns from adolescent hi-jinks to deadly industrial espionage when they are framed by nefarious hacker The Plague - soon they are fighting for their lives. 'Life or Something Like It' (2002) stars Jolie as Lanie Kerrigan, a beautiful, ambitious newscaster who thinks that having the perfect hair, perfect boyfriend and perfect apartment adds up to the perfect life - until a meaningful encounter with a street psychic, Prophet Jack (Tony Shaloub), throws her world into chaos. With the help of her handsome, wise-cracking co-worker Pete (Edward Burns), Lanie decides to start living each day as if it were her last - with unsettling consequences.
