The author, Harold Fletcher, was a 26-year-old assistant zoologist, who kept a diary of the expedition, which explored over 3000 km of unmapped coastline of the Australian Antarctic Territory, and also charted the ocean floor. Illustrated with double-page sepia photos. Book in almost-new condition, with slight wear at bottom of spine; dust jacket in good condition; no annotations noticed.
