Antique/vintage Lustreware Tea Cup And Saucer

A beautiful lustreware cup and saucer with a metallic pink and green hand painted glaze in an intricate floral design. We haven't be able to identify the maker of this piece but judging by the style and the inconsistencies in the glaze we would guess that this cup and saucer were made around the late 19th century. "K8" is handwritten in the glaze on the underside of the saucer. The condition is good for the age but it does have a few issues as you'd expect from a piece of porcelain this old. There appears to be some discolouration, some rubbing to the glaze, an imperfection on the interior base of the cup and some crazing. There is a crack in the saucer. On the whole this is a very attractive piece with a time worn patina. Cup Height 5.5cm Cup Diameter 9cm Saucer Diameter 14cm
