Apologeticus/scapulam Liber & M. Minucii Felicis Octavius (1686) - Tertulliani
Merchant: Oxfam
Merchant's Category: Media> Books
This 1686 pocket edition in original leather consists of two works by Tertulliani (an early Father in the Latin church): 'Apologeticus' (Apology), a defence of Christianity against Roman paganism, in Latin (135 pages), and 'Scapulam Liber' (Letter to Scapula) in Latin (11 pages). Bound together in the same book is 'Octavius' by M. Minucii Felicis in Latin (74 pages) with a long preface by Father Baldwini also in Latin. Published in Cambridge in 1686. Condition is fair: front board is very loose but still attached. Boards show a significant amount of superficial damage. Book itself is complete and pages are relatively clean and extremely legible.
