Ardmore 13 Year Old 2008 vintage Highland single malt Scotch whisky. Single cask ex-Laphroaig barrel #TWB1031 bottled March 2022 to mark the Solar Eclipse witnessed during the the Apollo 12 Mission, 1969. 135 numbered bottles. On November 14th 1969 Apollo 12 launched from the Kennedy Space Center on a mission to explore the Moon's Ocean of Storms. After exploring the lunar surface, Commander Charles Conrad and Pilot Alan Bean returned to command module 'Yankeee Clipper'. During the flight home and shortly before Earth reentry, the Apollo 12 command module went behind the Earth relative to the Sun. The resulting solar eclipse was famously captured by the astronauts on 16mm film. "This Is Really Spectacular".
