Argentium Silver is a revolutionary alloy which is stronger, brighter, whiter and more versatile than traditional Sterling Silver. Made with added germanium, this Argentium 940 Silver Sheet is purer than Sterling Silver, and finishes to a whiter, brighter shine which is comparable to that of fine silver. As it contains much less copper than Sterling Silver, Argentium is also highly tarnish and firescale resistant, requiring less polishing, less maintenance by customers and does not require plating. Argentium is also stronger and more versatile than Sterling Silver, and can be welded or fused as well as soldered - allowing for a far greater breadth of design possibilities. Argentium is also hypoallergenic, perfect for those who have an allergy to traditional Sterling Silver. Please refer to user guides for more information on working with Argentium.
