No skier has revolutionized freestyle skiing more in the last decade then Henrik Harlaut and his signature ski, the Edollo, continues to support him every step of the way. It s built for nose-pressing and confidence in the park. 2.5 Impact Edges are oversized and specially heat-treated to resist damage; the Comp Series Base is Armada's fastest, boosting confidence on kickers when you know the ski is going to glide well. AR Nose Rocker uses traditional camber underfoot for grip and edge hold, with rocker at the nose for pressing and better turn initiation. Having camber into the tail improves the versatility of the ski and makes it one of the very best pure freestyle skis when outside of the park. AR75 Sidewall construction means full length sidewall for the best grip, whether in the park or skiing the rest of the mountain. The wide platform is ideal for stomping landings and locking onto rails, and helps ensure it skis the rest of the mountain equally well. Terrain Type & Ability Level Terrain Type It's an amazing park ski but, thanks to the shape and camber, it's surprisingly good when skiing all mountain too. The flex is soft so it does have a speed limit in terms of grip on hard snow but that isn't what this ski is about anyway. Skier Type Skiers who want a soft playful flexing ski to press, butter and hit jumps and jibs. Definitely one for the park skiers, but that doesn't mean you have to stay in the park, it's more about the style and the way ski flexes and what you'll do with it. The soft nose means easy presses and the balanced flex through the centre and tail means smooth butters. Overview Shape 98mm in the waist and the 20m radius (172cm) ensures good stability on rails and jumps, as well as making the ski ride well when out of the park. The tip and tail are quite short compared to many skis on the market, but this works well with the camber, nose rocker and soft flex. Rocker AR Nose Rocker uses a traditional sidecut paired with tip rocker and standard camber for easier turn initiation without compromising edge hold. The low tip rocker and plenty of camber is matched with a soft flex, especially on the tip, giving the ski a fairly unique position amongst park skis and making it standout. Core Armada's Poplar Ash Core uses lightweight poplar combined with higher density full-length ash stringers to create an impossibly lively ski that has all the power needed for boosting to new elevations. Construction The AR75 Sidewall uses semi-cap sidewall along the majority of the ski with a full cap at the tip and tails. This combination helps absorb high speed chatter and impacts from jibs. A Laminate Matrix lay-up uses a directional layering of fibreglass that dictates the flex pattern and torsional rigidity to create the ultimate in quick response, forgiveness and liveliness. Key Features Comp Base Sintered UHMW polyethylene with added carbon aids in speed and durability on snow. 2.2 Impact Edge Heat treated and built to avoid excess weight while maintain durability, this edge gives the best balance of durability and feel of the whole Armada collection. EB tester's comments: Mark (Trainer) Not your average twin tip. A little more shape and set back than most park skis, which makes for a great all mountain ski. You can feel how the flex would be great for someone into buttering jibs, but for me it made them nicely forgiving and cruisy. Ellis Brigham was born in 1933, the brainchild of Frederick Ellis Brigham, who set up business making cycling shoes and walking boots in a tiny 'two up, two down' building on the outskirts of Manchester.

After the war, as mountain walking and climbing became more and more popular, the shop began to sell ex-WD climbing equipment and Brigham's boots with their special nailing patterns became very sought after.

Fast forward almost 80 years and Ellis Brigham now has 24 shops across the UK and a leading website, making it the UK's premier retailer for ski hardware, mountaineering equipment and outdoor clothing.
