Brighten up your garden with these beautiful Asters, flowering throughout summer and into autumn every year with gorgeous, semi-double, yellow-centred daisy blooms. The Autumn Jewel's collection has been carefully bred to be compact and bushy with masses of good-sized flowers, the perfect combination for today's gardens, providing a bold splash of colour late into the autumn. Forming a sturdy clump, these fully winter-hardy perennials perform brilliantly as a central feature in containers or in the middle of borders for reliable, no-fuss colour year on year. Blooming over many weeks, asters make great cut flowers, being very long lasting in a vase, and in the garden will attract a whole host of beneficial pollinating insects.They're loved by butterflies and bees, making them perfect for wildlife gardens. Easy to grow and low maintenance, the short, compact and bushy plants will not require staking and you can more or less leave them to do their own thing! This classic collection is supplied as 6 plug plants, two each of Sapphire, Rose Quartz and Purple Diamond. Growing to approx. 35cm x 30cm (14in x 12in) they'll return each year. Sapphire - Delicate sprays of bright mid blue daisy-like flowers with a bold yellow central disc Rose Quartz - masses of soft pink flowers with contrasting yellow centres Purple Diamond - Bright purple-magenta daisy flowers with a golden centre.
