At Sixes And Sevens

This is a collection of cartoons from the satirical 'Basher' series that appeared in the South China Morning Post, a Hong Kong-based English-language newspaper. The cartoons are black and white single frames and usually refer to topical events that affected Hong Kong at the time of publishing, from sewage overflows, to the Gulf War, to local politics. Averaging two cartoons per page this is a collection of well over a hundred pieces - a perfect book for lovers of classic satirical humour, or with a sense of nostalgia for the Hong Kong of the 80s and 90s. The book is in good condition, there is some minor wear but this is primarily limited to yellowing around the edges of the book, beyond that the illustrations are large and clear, with the book still tightly bound - waiting to be read.
