The lamp is attached to the canopy with a steel wire. The socket is well protected against corrosion because it is made of anodised aluminium. This means that the metal surface is transformed with the help of a chemical reaction in such a way that a thin oxide layer is created, which guarantees this protection. With its shapely design and the combination of valuable materials, this light source adds the finishing touch to modern living spaces and also shines with its longevity. The founders of Norm Architects draw their artistic inspiration primarily from the field of residential architecture. The concept of the Bank series was born when the two Danish designers Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Ronn travelled to Manhattan, where a vintage light caught their eye amidst the big city flair. In their creations, they focus primarily on creating a visual balance between architecture and design. The result of their high-quality work are light sources that fuse timeless minimalism and aesthetics.
