Every Auto Meter gauge is designed, assembled and calibrated to the exacting standards that today's high performance racers expect from the industry leader in competition instruments.This Tachometer works with 4, 6, and 8-cylinder engines that have standard, electronic or high-performance/racing ignitions powered by 12-volts. The gauge includes silver-painted steel mounting cups with an anodized aluminium dial, bezel, and control shield to give a stand-out racing look. The gauge is designed to be mounted in the dash.Featuring a gauge range of 0-10,000 RPM, the gauge has a built in air core meter for an accurate, fast-action response.Features:Analogue Gauge0-10,000 rpm Range5 inch (127mm) diameter270 degree sweepSilver Face with Silver Bezel and Black figuresNo Rev limiter, Memory recall or playback is includedThe ultimate gauges for Accuracy, Durability, Visibility and Styling.IMPORTANT: This tachometer is factory calibrated to operate on 8 cylinder engines. For 4 or 6 cylinder engines, it is necessary to make the proper adjustments to adapt this tachometer to your cylinder range. Locate the switch hole on the back of the tachometer.Move each of the two switches to the proper cylinder selection.NOTE: This tachometer has an air core meter for fast response. With power off, it is normal for the pointer to leave zero. When power is applied, the pointer will move to the correct position.
