These shimmering earrings are made from solid brass, spotted dalmatian jasper & Japanese glass seed beads in beautiful Cornwall. The brass is hand beaten on a series of anvils, the oldest of which is around 170 years old, giving a uniquely glittering texture like no other. This range is inspired by the textures of ancient jewellery, paired with graphic, contemporary shapes. Spotted jasper is a beautiful & understated stone, that will pair well with a huge range of colours, earthy neutrals & animal prints. Every stone is unique in its markings, looking like a tiny, individual world. This design is named 'Atlas' after the Titan God of ancient Greek myth who carried the entire heavens upon his shoulders. My jewellery is plastic free, as are my postage & packaging materials. The beaten brass is solid & raw, & can be left to patina naturally over time, or kept to a golden shine by buffing after wear with the free polishing cloth provided. The French hook style ear wires are also solid hypoallergenic brass. For super sensitive ears please select the 'Gold Plated Hooks' at checkout. We also keep solid gold hooks in stock, just in case.
