Sheila progressed to watercolour whilst still continuing her love of painting china. Sheila started to take classes in watercolour painting, becoming enormously popular. Sheila also writes for various magazines and belongs to many societies. Part 1: Sheila demonstrates how to paint beautiful flowers in watercolour by firstly concentrating on the basic shapes. From this Sheila graduates to more difficult areas such as painting the stamens and other small details. Part 2: In this part, Sheila focuses on the more intricate flowers, such as daisies, pansies and roses. Shelia demonstrates how to use white gouache on dark paper to add effect on otherwise a dull scene. Background techniques are introduced as well as how to use the right colours and brush strokes to produce stunning pictures whatever your ability.
