Berlin New Architecture: A Guide to New Buildings - Michael Imhof & Leon Krempel. Published by Michael Imhof Verlag, Paperback, 2003. Third edition. Originally published in 2001. Illustrated. Language: English. This is a nice, colourful, medium-sized book, mainly of photographs with an introduction and a further small amount of text. It was written and published in the thirteenth year after the fall of the Berlin wall, and, according to the author, was still the largest construction site in Europe, but also, capital of a reunited Germany that might look as if it had always been built that way. Whilst not a complete tourist guide, there is a map printed on the inside back cover with the location of some of these buildings. For anyone interested in modern architecture, this is an interesting book. Condition: Very good. Nice and colourful, full of photographs. Clean and tightly bound, except for a handwritten dedication in ballpoint pen on the inside front cover.
