Hand made in Italy. Beautifully crafted from Alabaster. 3 inch king. 14.5 inch board. Matching draught counters. Inlaid wooden cabinet. Handmade by Scali Alabastro of Italy, this luxury chess set boasts an edge to edge polished alabaster chess board lid with an inlaid wooden cabinet to house the chess men. Each chess piece is made from the same colour alabaster as the board so it all matches beautifully. The blue in this set is particularly striking and a superb contrast to the almost glass like hues of the lighter pieces and squares. To keep these exquisite pieces protected, they each have their own compartment with the cabinet. This stunning set also includes a set of alabaster draughts in matching colours, making this a superb game set to give as a gift... or perhaps to keep for yourself!
