Boswell's Journal of a Tour to the Hebrides with Samuel Johnson 1773 1963 edition Edited from the original manuscript by Frederick A Pottle, Sterling Professor of English and Charles H Bennett, Research Assistant Yale University Considered the "best of all his journals." Illustrated dust jacket has tears to top and bottom edges but is clean and presentable. Hardback is blue cloth covered board with gold design to front and lettering to spine. Crease in the middle of the spine running top to bottom, otherwise the boards are in very good condition. Pages are tightly bound, clean and unmarked. Pages have an off-white appearance.
