(i) Apologies for slight, light-interference in Photos Two & Three. The centres of the disc are clear and easy-to-read, in real life! ii) You will notice that I add a "Guit." [quotation-marks not included] to the titles, of all of the "Classical" & "World", L.P.s & C.D.s that I list, that consist of predominately, sounds from : guitars ; and/or lutes ; and/or regional stringed instruments that are strummed or finger-picked [for quick reference for the browser]) Some lovely, virtuoso guitar recordings, via the Battersea, London-born legend that is Julian Bream (1933-2020) are available for the listener here, on this Mid-Eighties L.P., that was released on the ever-desirable "RCA Red Seal" series. This product is volume seven of the "Music of Spain" series, and features Bream in some Wardour Chapel (Dorset)-based recordings that were made between February-May, of 1983. And, all of the material recorded was composed by the Spanish genius, that was Andres Segovia (1893-1987, approximately four years after these recordings were made). Side One : "Homage to Andres Segovia" (beginning) :- "Turina" : 1) "Fandanguillo" Op.36 ; 2) "Sevilana" Op.29. "Mompou" : 3) Suite Compostelana. Side Two : "Homage to Andres Segovia" (conclusion) :- "Moreno Torroba" : 1) Sonatina. "Gerhard" : 2) Fantasia. "Falla" : 3) "Homenaje, pour le Tombeau de Claude Debussy" ; 4) "The Miller's Dance" (from "The Three-Cornered Hat"). "Ohana" : 5) "Tiento". Reverse-Sleeve (sample Photo Four) contains : Tracklisting ; Performance & recording-credits ; Front-Sleeve still of Bream in action, by D. Hecht ; L.P. Art direction by J.J. Stelmach ; Illustrations by J. Schreier. The product includes a VG condition, double-sided, mono Inner-Sleeve (sample Photo Five) containing an interesting, contemporary essay (it starts with a description of Segovia celebrating his Feb'83, 90th birthday, by "giving recitals in the U.S." ...), by G. Wade, printed in English, German & French languages. Matrix-Runout codes :- "DM B-2145 A-4/9-86"/"DM B-2145 B-4/85 S 11" (typed). Records graded visually to RRPG grades (record/sleeve) VG+/VG+.
