Here we have the latest Britesource 2ft 9w LED T8 Tube available in 4000k (Cool White) and 6000k (Daylight). This is a one of a kind product due to it's 320Adeg beam angle and superb dot free light output. There is no other product on the market with the tubular body made entirely of polycarbonate with a 320Adeg beam angle which is extremely strong and lightweight. The benefits of this are very minimal yellowing of the material over its lifespan compared to other products on the market and no sagging what so ever. The full statistics of the tube are as follows: 900 lumens, instant warm up, SMD 2835 chips, working temperature -20Adeg - 45Adegc, IP40 rated, 30,000 hour average lamp life, 30,000 switch cycles and a colour rendering of Ra80. This LED Tube requires direct mains voltage wiring (240v) to one end of the tube (indicated on the product). You can modify your existing fluorescent fitting to accept this configuration by removing the ballast (HF) and starter if its a switch start fitting. The wiring will need to be modified in order run both live and neutral to one end of the fitting only. Alternatively you can order a pre-wired LED Ready fitting in the related products below.
