Promotion: Sturdy construction To ensure that your new clarinet lasts a lifetime the Prodige is made from a co-polymeric ABS instead of wood. The issue with wooden clarinets especially models made from Grenadilla wood is that you have to be careful what environment you play them in. Due to their organic nature sudden humidity or temperature changes can result in the wood cracking - which is an expensive fix! You wont have any of that with the Prodige clarinet. The ABS is unaffected by environmental factors making them nearly maintenance-free. Just like every Buffet product the Prodige receives the same amount of care and attention that it deserves. Buffets skilled artisans are responsible for moulding and drilling the bore of the Prodige in the same factory in France which they make all of Buffets instruments. All tone holes have been undercut and combined with leather pads creating a great seal with better intonation and tonal character.
