The title page reads: "Diary of Thomas Burton, Esq. Member in The Parliaments from 1656 to 1659: Now first published from the original autograph manuscript. With and introduction, containing an account of the parliament of 1654; from the journal of Guibon Goddard, Esq. M.P. also now first printed." Half leather bound with marbled boards and gilt lettering and designs on the spine and gilt lines on the edges of the leather. The page edges are coloured to match the marbling. Volume four of four. Condition details: There is wear to the edges and corners of the boards and the spine but there are no splits or tears or large chips. The pages have spots of foxing but the majority have very little foxing. A few pages have a hint of tanning at the edges but most are clean and white. None are damaged. The binding is tight. This book will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery. A charge of PS5 will be applied.
