The Carron Company was an ironworks established in 1759 on the banks of the River Carron near Falkirk, in Stirlingshire, Scotland. This a history compiled from the available records, with the greatest focus on the early period until 1786. Illustrated with a few b/w plates and maps to the end papers. Gilt embossed lettering to the spine and a gilt embossed vignette of the Carron Company to the front board. Slight water damage to the map endpapers at the front of the book. The rest of the book is in very good condition.
