China's Long Revolution

From the back: "Edgar Snow knew Mao Tse-tung, Chou En-lai and the other Chinese leaders in the 'days of bitterness' and the Long March, a time which he described in "Red Star Over China." In China's Long Revolution the story is brought up to date. The author describes the arcane lore of 'Chinese medicine,' the intricacies of the Cultural Revolution, life on the Communes and in the May Seventh schools of political reorientation. Most interesting of all, he describes conversations with Mao Tse-tung and Chou En-lai which throw new light on the recent rapprochement between China and the United States." The book is in a good condition. The cover and spine have several creases and tears, as well as faded edges. The pages within have discoloured edges. However, the binding remains strong and the text and photos seem unaffected by the issues. This would be best suited to those interested in the history and politics of China.
