Do not take if: You are under the age of 18 and have had your tonsils or adenoids removed due to obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome You know that you metabolise codeine into morphine very rapidly You are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed You are allergic to any of the ingredients this medication contains You take medicines used to thin the blood such as warfarin. You take Metoclopramide or domperidone - used to stop you feeling sick (nausea) or being sick (vomiting). You take Colestyramine - for lowering blood cholesterol levels. Speak to your GP or Pharmacist before use if: Have severe kidney or liver problems. Have non-cirrhotic alcoholic liver disease.
