Corsodyl Dental Gel 1% 50G Treatment for gum problems. What is Corsodyl 1% Dental Gel? Corsodyl 1% w/w Dental Gel helps you target problem areas in your mouth directly and effectively. This gel is an intensive treatment that is formulated to treat and prevent gum problems, such as red, swollen, or bleeding gums. Corsodyl Dental Gel is clinically proven to help put a stop to the first stage of gum disease, gingivitis. If left untreated, this can progress to the irreversible second stage of gum disease periodontitis, which can lead to tooth loss. Corsodyl 1% w/w Dental Gel contains the active ingredient Chlorhexidine Digluconate. This ingredient acts rapidly, to kill the bacteria that cause plaque within 30 seconds. It also forms a protective antibacterial layer over the teeth and gums to prevent plaque buildup for up to 12 hours. Warnings and Precautions Not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Not be used anywhere but in your mouth. Do not use this product immediately after brushing your teeth. Do not swallow. Do not use this product if the expiry date printed on the original packaging has passed. May cause temporary discoloration of the teeth or tongue. This can be removed by twice daily brushing with toothpaste or by your dentist or hygienist. You can reduce the risk of staining by avoiding drinking tea, coffee, or red wine, especially up to one hour after use. Do not use if: You are allergic to chlorhexidine digluconate or any of the other ingredients this product contains.
