Cube Cross Race Pro Cyclo-Cross Bike HighlightsCUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities – high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength – that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.Advanced Mechanical Forming is a way of manipulating tube shapes to better fulfil their function as part of a frame. Varying cross-sections and external dimensions helps create a smoother look for a frame, but it's also a great way to increase the strength, stiffness and durability of a frame without increasing weight.Cables connect your handlebar controls to vital components like gears and brakes, but there's no need for them to get in your way.
