Get ahead with this duo of grafted cucumber plants. These plugs have been grafted onto vigorous rootstocks giving them a distinct advantage over seed grown crops. Cucumbers need a long growing season but equipped with strong, grafted roots they will romp away and enjoy improved resistance to disease. If you haven’t tried growing cucumbers before, this is the perfect starter package – nothing compares to the satisfying crunch of a freshly picked home-grown cucumber! Height Up To 300cm (118in). Spread Up To 45cm (18in) Grafted Cucumber Duo includes the following: Cucumber ‘Baby Rocky’ F1 – an early maturing variety, supplying large numbers of fruit, 8-10cm (3-4") long, borne in compact multiple clusters close to the main stem with little energy wasted on unnecessary side branching. ‘Baby Rocky’ is well adapted to outdoor production in UK climates as it remains productive in both high and low temperatures. Cucumber ‘Greensky’ F1 - a vigorous variety for greenhouse cultivation and these plants offer superb disease resistance as they come ready-grafted onto strong rootstocks. ‘Greensky’ produces 30-35cm long, green fruits which are smooth, bitter-free and mild tasting.
