Rare edition published in Paris in 1571, the Latin text printed in 2 ruled columns throughout with marginal titling. Each volume has an engraved title page. Leather-bound hardback, 25cm x 38cm, on 6 cords, all unbroken. The two volumes bound as one: 203 and 242 leaves, i.e 890 pages, all in very good condition for their age and still firmly bound. The exterior leather aged with some loss to the edges but the boards holding well. Altogether a magnificent strong volume internally.
