DPS are the masters of carbon constructed skis and with the new Pagoda series they've taken resort-based all mountain skiing to a new level. The 90RP model is ready to slice up corduroy with precision turns while still comfortably releasing the edge on trickier terrain. The combination of this impeccable handling, a 90mm waist and clever shaping make it the ideal choice for all mountain skiers who want both intuitive response and a surfy feel. Terrain Type & Ability Level Terrain Type Don't be fooled by the name, it does excel on piste but it rips all mountain too thanks to the RP shaping and progressive taper. Tight trees are no problem, fresh powder slopes are a delight and bumps are hassle-free. Carbon layers mean medium and long radius turns feel precise; the width and design ensure playful handling in softer snow and away from pistes. Skier Type Confident skiers who want a playful ski. Most adventures will be lift based which means plenty of piste skiing, but the lure of snow through the trees and away from marked runs is going to be a constant temptation. You don't need to be an expert to get the best from them. Overview Shape The RP shape is both surfy and intuitive. 90mm underfoot provides enough platform for all conditions without being too wide; the tapered tip and tail initiate turns effortlessly and allows them to be exited with clean carves or easily washed out. Rocker Rocker at the tip and tail equates to 45% rocker. Sounds like a lot but it works perfectly with the shaping. The camber underfoot makes the most of the carbon construction and playful 15m radius. Core Fabricated with 2 hard wood species, ash and aspen, of disparate densities and grain orientations, that are laminated horizontally to give a stable, solid ride. Construction The DPS R&D team have engineered a construction with a horizontally combined core, innovative new sidewall technology and carbon layers to produce a supremely damp and stable platform. The result is a breakthrough in on-snow feel that combines both excitement and liveliness, with simultaneous dampness and control. Key Features RP Shaping The RP chassis started with the first Wailer 112 RP design that incorporated generous tip/tail rocker and taper. RP originally stood for Resort Powder', and the legend began. Its shape opens doors and makes truly versatile powder planing accessible to many. The RP's core shaping equation is impressive, 45% rocker merged with a 15m sidecut and means natural, intuitive skiing. Pagoda In 2005, DPS introduced the world's first carbon-fibre sandwich ski. In the 15 years since, they've obsessed over tuning carbon fibre to create the perfect ski that, in turn, produces the perfect apex moment. Carbon has always enjoyed numerous advantages over its fibreglass and metal ski counterparts, namely a superior combination of light weight and power. Its weakness has been damping, achieving a quiet ride at high speeds and on hard snow is carbon's kryptonite. For well over a decade, DPS have experimented tirelessly with a myriad of solutions to solve the damping equation. Enter Pagoda. Pagoda is a monumental breakthrough in carbon ski construction. It delivers a truly unprecedented level of damping without sacrificing the lightweight, power, and edge grip for which carbon has long been known. The result is a higher level of positive sensations and performance satisfaction. Ellis Brigham was born in 1933, the brainchild of Frederick Ellis Brigham, who set up business making cycling shoes and walking boots in a tiny 'two up, two down' building on the outskirts of Manchester.

After the war, as mountain walking and climbing became more and more popular, the shop began to sell ex-WD climbing equipment and Brigham's boots with their special nailing patterns became very sought after.

Fast forward almost 80 years and Ellis Brigham now has 24 shops across the UK and a leading website, making it the UK's premier retailer for ski hardware, mountaineering equipment and outdoor clothing.
