This Jacket can be folded, meaning that storage in a bag, top box or backpack is simple, shipping mode can also be activated using either the hidden button or the D-Air app.Protection for riders is high on the agenda and has been developed for 25 years by Dainese on the road and on the track. The level of protection provided is so high that D-Air technology is used by Moto GP champions as it offers a maximum level of protection, and is easy to wear. The airbag system protects the rider's back and vital parts with the internal shield. This is a patented airbag system from Dainese which has a special structure and microfilaments which ensure controlled inflation and the right level of protection across the airbag. It is also highly abrasion resistant and is the only certified motorcycle airbag protection that doesn't use hard-shell protection on the torso (EN 1621-4 Lev. 2) or back (EN 1621-4 CB Lev. 1). The amount of protection provided by this piece of kit is equivalent to seven back protectors.The Dainese Smart Jacket is an highly intelligent due to the brain inside the control unit which works without any cable of connection to the motorcycle, using only automatic senses of dangerous situation for the Airbag to be deployed. The technology used ensures that this is only done when necessary, and always at the right moment. The brain is able to sense and analyse everything that goes on around the rider whilst on the bike using seven sensors to monitor and process data 1,000 times a second. The complex algorithm activates the airbag in the event of lowsiders, highsiders, collisions with objects or other vehicles, and rear-end collisions. For the first time with a motorcycle airbag system, activation also occurs in a collision with a stationary vehicle, which is common when stopping at junctions/in traffic/etc. 25 years of test and use on the road and track to collect data from everyday and professional riders across the world is the reason why this Airbag is so intelligent. This unprecedented amount of information has made it possible to create an airbag system of unrivalled effectiveness and protection.This Jacket will provide protection for the rider for 26 hours on one charge thanks to its long lasting battery life. If the airbag has been deployed, the internal shield can be replaced at any authorised dealer, meaning no long waits to get back out on the bike. The jacket is easy to turn on and off, using a magnet on the chest, the Jacket will then tell you it is ready by vibrating on your chest. There is a multi-LED display on the left hand side of the chest which is easily visible from your mirrors.When you get your Smart Jacket, all you need to do is unbox register the Jacket online, charge to 100% and then you are ready to go. The Jacket can be easily adjusted using Velcro straps inside.
