Daniel And The Revelation
Merchant: Oxfam
Merchant's Category: Media> Books
Uriah Smith (1832-1903) was an American theologian and minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, a Church that stemmed from the prophecy that Jesus' second coming was imminent, and so places a great deal of emphasis on the biblical book of Daniel, and his visions. This book is Smith's own interpretations of 'Daniel', analysing the verses and also comparing the prophecies within to actual historic events. The Seventh-day Adventist co-founder Ellen White endorsed this book, and it had a large impact on the Adventist movement. A very insightful read for those interested in the history of the Adventist movements, and to one of the key figures responsible for it's current trajectory. The book itself is in good-fair condition, there is some wear and damage to the cover boards, and they are slightly loose to to the rest of the volume. Beyond that, the interior is clean and clear, complete with gorgeous marbling to te edges of the pages.
