The entrance of the house has been precisely measured so it is big enough to allow pregnant hedgehogs to safely enter and exit while preventing any potential predators from gaining access. The long entrance tunnel also helps to deter predators. Complete with a removable roof, the house is easy to clean or fill with suitable nesting materials, such as hay or dry leaves.
