The 5kw Midi Heater is perfectly suited to medium sized vehicles, commercial or agricultural cabins or even marine applications. The midi heater is available in two variants, one with side vents and one with front vents, both of which push out 175cfm of airflow controlled by a 3 speed fan. The heater is connected to a hot water source via 16mm (5/8") hose tails and outputs through four 2" air outlets. An aluminium heater core helps to keep the weight down to aid fitting.Specifications: Weight - 2.8kg for side vented version, 2.25kg for front vented version Voltage/Amps - 12v, 5.9a Airflow - 175cfm Hose connection - 16mm (5/8") Air Outlets - 4x 2 Inch Electrical Consumption - 147w Noise Level - 55dB on highest settingPlease Note: - This heater is not supplied as a complete kit. It is recommended to install with a 4 position fan switch, rotary heater control knob, bowden cable, water hose, air ducting and air vents. - The heater is not stand-alone and requires a hot water supply, either from the vehicle engine cooling system or separate hot water heater. - The included water valve is not a bypass design so when in the "Off" position there will be no water flow back to the engine. As a result, this heater is unsuitable for use on vehicles where the heater circuit is also used as the engines thermostat bypass circuit. If the vehicle doesn't have a thermostat bypass circuit you can either retrofit a thermostat bypass water circuit or clamp the valve on the heater fully open so that it is unable to move and install or use the original heater bypass valve.
