Derbac-M Liquid pack size 150ml Treatment of head lice, pubic lice and scabies. What is Derbac-M Liquid? Derbac M is a treatment for head lice, pubic lice and scabies. It is a water-based formula and alcohol free. What is the active ingredient in Derbac M and what does it do? The active ingredient in Derbac M is malathion. This works to kill head lice, nits, pubic lice and scabies mites. It does this by blocking a natural enzyme in the nit or mite, which stops it from growing and leads to their death. May be suitable where asthma or sensitive skin is a problem. Suitable for children from 6 months old. Warnings and Precautions Not suitable for use on children under the age of 6 months. Avoid getting into contact with eyes. Do not use this product on the broken or infected skin. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients this medicine contains . Speak to your GP or Pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Speak to your GP or Pharmacist before use if you are taking any other medication. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Ingredients Active Ingredient: Malathion 0.5% w/w. Other Ingredients: Methyl Hydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl Hydroxybenzoate (E216), Emulsifying Wax, Potassium Citrate, Citric Acid, Perfume HT 52 and Purified Water.
