About the book: Drawing is one of the most fundamental arts, and has a strong presence in the visual arts, linking in an essential way to design. In this book, Marcia Tiburi recovers the importance of this art in a conversation with the musician and drawing professor Fernando Chui, producing an illustrated dialogue that serves as an introduction to drawing and its interfaces with contemporary education and culture. They start from the reflection on the concept of drawing, and seek the pedagogical and historical relations that it establishes with other areas of knowledge. The intention of the dialogue was to exchange perceptions, as well as experiences and desires related to the issue of design that involved them. More than theorizing or exposing knowledge in the direction of scientifically valid foundations, the intention was to promote a reflection between gesture-word and gesture-drawing. Book is in very good condition but has a library stamp and a hand written date on the first page. A few of the inside pages have some light pencil marks in the margin but are otherwise tight and clean.
