There are snow-capped peaks, wild and rocky areas that have hitherto been seen only by the hardiest trampers and explorers, river heads, sandy beaches, trout streams -- as well as the towns, cities and other places in which the effects of human habitation are the most apparent. Documentary-maker Bill aunders has prepared a text that crisply counterpoints the superb photographs.
