The colours are made from a range of colourful and concentrated watercolour dye inks, which when applied to paper or illustration boards can create some beautiful effects. Many designers and illustrators enjoy using watercolour dye inks due to their unique colour and ink handling that they yield. These inks are best used for work that will be reproduced, work such as manga, cartooning, anime, illustration and graphic arts to name a few. In comparison to pigmented inks these watercolour inks are not lightfast and the colours can fade from direct sunlight or ultraviolet however they will not fade from incandescent light.
