Dr. Wolff’s Vagisan Moisturising Cream is a hormone-free cream for vaginal dryness. It relieves symptoms like burning, itching and pain caused by vaginal dryness. It also helps for pain during sex. What make Dr. Wolff’s Vagisan Moisturising Cream unique from other vaginal dryness treatments is it's a real cream and not a gel (aqueous preparations). It provides a dual effect to moisturise AND soothe lipids (fats) to the skin in the vaginal and external genital area. Menopause, Vaginal Dryness and Dr. Wolff's Vagisan Moisturising Cream: Many women will find they suffer with vaginal dryness as a syptom of menopause. The one problem is what can you use with your usual menopause treatments to help with the vaginal dryness? Well, look no futher as this cream could be the answer! Dr Wolff's Vagisan Moisturising Cream contains no hormones (oestrogens) so it is safe to be used alongside hormone replacement therapy or during the menopause with vaginal creams or pessaries that do contain hormones (oestrogen). Thanks to the addition of lactic acid, the cream is set at a pH of 4.5. We advise speaking to your GP before the use of any products if you are already taking any medication for menopause. Please read the included leaflet carefully before using this product. This cream does not contain spermicide and should not be used to protect against unwanted pregnancy. Not be used immediately after childbirth. Not to be use if you have a vaginal infection e.g Thrush Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients this product contains. Speak to your GP for advice if you are suffering with more extreme symptoms caused by vaginal dryness or if this cream does not sufficiently ease your symptoms. Although this product should be safe to use we advise you speak to your GP or our pharmacist before using if you are pregnant or breastfeeding This product is not recommended for use with condoms or diaphragms.
