Several beds and mattresses that you can try, not my cup of tea in term of style though. Prices in line with the market I'd say.

We bought a bed from Dreams last year but have recently had to change to a lighter weight mattress due to my medical conditions. We need to lower the headboard to stop the mattress from slipping off when the base is lifted to get clean bedding out. Presently the mattress is against the wall and the base is in the air. We rang customer service to ask for help who kindly offered to send someone out NEXT MONDAY. I asked where we should sleep for the next week and was asked if we had a spare bed! When I said no I was told "sorry we still can't come till next Monday". I am semi disabled, suffering from cancer and my wife is petite and suffers from asthma. We are so looking forward to spending the week in armchairs!
Just got a phone call from an odd job man who will be with us shortly.

I am disgusted with the after sales service and will NEVER use dreams again.

Complete nightmare

I recently bought a Dreams mattress from the Tottenham Court Road branch. Nesti was so helpful, showing us the different options. We got a great price in the bank holiday sale, with quick and friendly delivery. I even paid the extra to get my old mattress taken away. A great service from start to finish. Very happy indeed!

We ordered a double bed when dreams had a "if you don't find it comfortable we'll swap" policy. When we tried to return the bed, actually to buy a larger bed from them (my wife and I are quite tall), they refused as they said that it was our fault for choosing too small a bed. Their Head Office was rude and unhelpful and we were left feeling they had our money, and didn't care. We vowed never to buy from Dreams again, and indeed we've now bought 5 beds from other retailers and been very satisfied.

The moment you enter you are interrogated by the assistant, probably and unsurprisingly because you are the only customer in store. Literally chased around the store- surely the assistant could see i wanted to browse and leave me to look for 5mins before moving in for the kill. Saw her swoop and attempted to move around store and she still made contact. You've got to admire that dogged grim determination to annoy the customer despite my body language screaming leave me alone. I understand maybe some people knowing what they want before they walk in but surely the majority want to have a look at the many options before listening to the sales chirp of ' its free delivery on all beds' ' you can have x on no interest x months before paying' ' the sale ends soon' ' are you looking for anything in particular?' Yes... a bed. I wonder what % of people when immediately asked ' can i help you?' respond ' just looking' can you imagine any other type of establishment doing this? How would they like walking into tescos to be immediately asked at the door ' looking for fruit or vegetables today? Give me a chance. After giving an irate speech to the salesperson i got asked again about 5 mins later. This happened on two separate visits to the store. Just had to walk out on principle. Incidentally and i understand not every model can be shown in store but there seemed a lot of cheaper, what appeared to be similar models on line and yet the most expensive models seemed to be on view in store. Seems the more uncomfortable the mattress, the higher the price, more pocket springs seems to equate to higher price, surely there comes a point where the mattress gets no better, no more molding to the body unless it comes as a suit. The really expensive ones feel like marshmallow's, though to be fair this is an occurrence in many similar bed retailers. However i did go to bensons for beds, quadrant, carpet right, warren evans and a couple other stores and not experience the automaton, was given a few minutes to look before being asked- fine. Oh on a point of fairness you also find this level of customer service at the legendary oak furniture land. Oh in some respects its probably not there fault, they are probably told by the management on high to nail the customer down before they get away but all i left with was a headache. Any person who is unfortunate enough to have to visit should carry a card saying 'im fine thanks' O think i got offered a cup of tea! Though that may have been at said legendary oak furniture land which i visited same day so i forget which one or was it both did this. I can only assume this is to mellow you before the interrogation. Should be renamed Arkwrights.
