Earth Magic: A Book of Shadows for Positive Witches - Marion Weinstein. Published by New Page Books (a division of Career Press), Paperback, 2003, revised edition. No original publication date given. Based on an in-depth study of many facets of witchcraft, this book presents the religion as positive and life-affirming. The book is filled with 'how-to's' of a practical nature, but it is intended as a springboard to unlock the reader's psychic Wiccan abilities and guide them into the creation of their own work. Marion Weinstein (1939 - 2009) was an author, teacher, media personality, and proud New York "city witch." Known as "The Ethics Witch," she is one of the founders of the modern witchcraft movement. She was the first to coin the phrase and define Positive Magic, and clearly delineate its use. Condition: Fair. The pages look clean, but closer inspection reveals there to be water damage at the bottom of many of the pages. The are a couple of coffee-coloured stains inside the back cover and opposite, and a large foxing mark inside the front cover. Thumbing discolouration and another small coffee stain are located on the fore-edge.
