This pack of two donut-shaped, biodegradable and highly durable multipurpose scourers are?ethically made in Sri Lanka from coconut fibre (or coir), neatly wrapped around stainless steel wire. Coir is a natural fibre extracted from between the hard internal shell of the coconut and the outer coat of the coconut. As well as being totally natural, the scourers are naturally antibacterial, free from toxic chemicals, recyclable and biodegradable. They are non-scratch, so?are suitable for non-stick frying pan, great on hard surfaces like the cooker hob or stove top, and safe for enamel sinks and baths. To top it all off they are completely plastic free, right down to the packing - a simple card box! Size: Approx?10cm?diameter x 4.5cm thick Care: Rinse after each use and store in a dry place. You may notice some loose fibres or?dust? on the first few uses but this will reduce over time. EcoCoconut is an Australian brand created to give people the opportunity to choose biodegradable and sustainable coconut based products over plastic. The manufacturer has been trading for over 135 years and is a specialist in coir based products - a material that has been part of Sri Lankan daily life for centuries.
