Ecotherm Eco-Versal PIR Insulation Board are composed of rigid polyisocyanurate foamwith aluminum foil composite on both sides. The thermal board is a universal high performance insulation that can be used for pitched roofs, flat roofs, timber frame walls, floors, room-in-the-roof applications and ceilings. It is suitable for both new build and renovations. The low emissivity surface of the reflective foil can cut radiation heat transfer across an adjoining air-space making it a cost-effective way to improve the thermal performance of existing building elements. Eco-Versal has an integral vapour control layer to minimise the risk of interstitial condensation. Foil facings have a high water vapour resistance and will, therefore, provide a significant resistance to water vapour transmission. PIR foam resists attack from alkalis, dilute acids, mineral oil and petrol. The boards are lightweight and rigid making them easy to carry and cut. They are safe to handle and are a non-irritant.
