A large portfolio of drawings for Eisenstein's classic film - measures 13 x 18 ins. Contents comprise thirty large cards with one picture attached to each of an original sketch. In addition a booklet of seven pages (same dimension) done in French, English and Russian, 1967, by Sergei Youtkevich. Condition: the thirty sketches are fine as is the booklet; the casing to contain the material is damaged: spine partially torn and hanging off but front and back boards still fully intact: susceptible to repair. A rare item.
