Furnace specifically designed and constructed to melt precious metals Digital controller maintains temperature until you are ready to pour Maximum temperature 1100degC Fine gold capacity of 1kg Supplied with Crucible, Tongs and Stirring Rod The Electric Melting Furnace is constructed from solid steel and the highest quality components to ensure reliability and performance. This Italian manufactured furnace operates with a digital controller that has an automatic mechanism, which maintains the temperature until you`re ready to pour. The furnace is designed to reach a maximum temperature of 1100degC and has a fine gold capacity of 1kg. The furnace is supplied with a Graphite Crucible (1kg), Tongs and a Graphite Stirring Rod. Please note; it is advised you change your graphite rod after a maximum use of 6 melts and replace the heating element after 150 hours of use. Heat resistant gloves are not supplied but are essential (700 562, 700 563). The unit measures 210mm x 210mm x 355mm. This furnace does not come with a tilt feature. For a replacement parts; Crucible - 999 6035, Tongs - 999 7817 and Rod - 999 7815. A smaller 0.5kg melting furnace is available; 999 7813. This machines uses a maximum of 850w. Supplied with a 13 amp standard UK 3 pin plug.
