Classic circuitry The Electro Harmonix Little Big Muff Pi Distortion features a circuit based on the famous NYC Version 9 variant though not identical. The tone falls somewhere between the current U.S. Big Muff and the Russian Big Muff with long silky smooth sustain a slightly brighter voicing and less pronounced low-end. The aim was to pack all the tonal character of a classic muff into an enclosure that saved pedalboard real estate.
