This is an Overnight Bag in Black from Elvis & Kresse that has been made from their limited edition reclaimed printing blanket along with their classic decommissioned red fire hose that will have seen active duty, putting out fires all around the UK in some cases for up to 25 years before being repurposed into this beautiful overnight bag. The interior of the bag is lined with reclaimed military grade parachute silk giving a beautiful feel and texture to the inside. This overnight bag is particularly useful for fitting a change of clothes, pair of running trainers, books, keys, wallet, iPhone, toiletries and much more. The material is incredibly robust capable of protecting your contents from damage and from wet weather as it's water resistant and very easy to clean. It features an adjustable shaped and padded shoulder strap made also in decommissioned fire hose, has a practical design with reinforced stress points, an internal zip pocket and two internal poacher style pockets. It is handmade and has hand painted and bound edges that is presented in a reclaimed military grade parachute silk dust bag that can be reused as a delicate wash bag. Elvis & Kresse fell in love with London's decommissioned fire-hose back in 2005 through a chance encounter with the London Fire Brigade. They took this lifesaving material home determined to breathe new life into it and save it from its otherwise inevitable end in landfill, and vowed to donate 50% of our profits to charity. For over a decade they have been rescuing all of London's retired fire-hose by lovingly handcrafting them into sustainable luxury bags and accessories. Every year since, Elvis & Kresse have donated 50% of the profits from the Fire-hose Collection to The Fire Fighters Charity.
