This emery paper is a fine grit (Grade 1200) and is used for dry preparation of metal. The lower the grit grade the larger the particle size meaning the paper is coarser. The paper is graded 150 which is the coarsest to 2000 which is very very fine. Best results will be obtained when emery paper is used in sequence from coarsest to finest grade to prepare and polish metal. Emery paper sheets can be cut to a required shape or size with scissors.
